对于寒冷天气，艺术家Simon Beck想必是真正的喜欢，因为在法国萨瓦省的冬季，他不会躲在温暖的室内，却常常穿上雪地鞋、并花费数天沿着冰封的湖面慢慢行走。在每天5-9小时的步行后，你能从远处看到他的足迹已不再是足迹，而是惊人的在雪地里留下了足有3个足球场一般的巨幅雪地图，有时是壮观的3D图案、有时是规整的几何形状。

有趣的是 ，开始时Simon并不是为了创作这些图案才去行走，一开始其实是因为腿有问题不能跑步 ，而在雪地里缓慢的行走是最不痛苦的一种锻炼方式。雪地里本来没有路，但渐渐的，走的多了，也就走出了门道。
