英国《泰晤士高等教育》(Times Higher Education)通过收集学生意见揭晓Student Experience Survey 2017: best UK universities for student social life(2017学生体验调查:学生社会生活最丰富的英国大学)。
在《THE》看来,大学不仅仅只是讲座和研讨会。大学经验的很大一部分由一个学生通过夜晚参加课外活动和社团的社会生活决定。
《THE》要求参加2017年“泰晤士报高等教育学生体验调查”的学生评价自己所在的大学在以下方面的表现:

良好的社区氛围
良好的课外活动/社团
良好的校园环境/大学周边
然后,将这些方面的评价结合起来,给出一个大学“社会经验”的整体评价。
