格拉斯哥喀里多尼亚大学学生代表英国参加在意运动会
Sarah Reid, Alison Black, Ross Paterson and Victoria Sloan have headed out to Turin to take part in the games which will feature student competitors from more than 50 countries.
All four will take part in the curling events.
Chris Wilson, Vice President Sports and Societies, said: “It’s fantastic that we have four representatives at such a prestigious event, and it’s great for us to have athletes of such a high calibre at the University.
“Hopefully they will bring back some medals.”
Principal and Vice-Chancellor Professor Pamela Gillies said: “Our sporting students are a credit to the University. We are very proud to have our students taking part in such a prestigious global event”.
Founded in 1961, the World University Winter Games are the second largest snow and ice sports event after the Winter Olympics.
