• 年度杰出校友奖的参与资格与评判

由英国大使馆/总领事馆文化教育处赞助的年度杰出校友奖向所有在英完成高等教育学业的中国籍校友开放。英国教育和英国文化为你的职业和事业所带来的影响，你的个性、学识、技能，以及你的热情、自信、自立等，都在评委的考虑之中。此外，我们还希望看到你如何致力于建立和加强中英两国的合作与交流。

• 入围及最终揭晓

6月下旬将公布各奖项五名入围者的名单，获奖名单将于11月举行的颁奖典礼暨晚宴当日揭晓。

• 其他奖项

除了年度校友奖，今年的商业大奖还设有其它七个奖项，分别是：年度创业奖、金融/专业服务奖、创新产品及服务奖项、创意大奖、可持续发展奖、年度中国投资者将年度英国公司奖。

We are looking for the Best of British, is that you?

The British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai takes great pleasure in announcing the official launch of the British Business Awards 2012 and invites applications.

The British Business Awards are an awards programme organised by the British Chambers of Commerce in China to recognise and promote excellence in innovation enterprise and endeavour, in the British business community in China. Established in 2008, the awards programme is now held every two years.

This is the fourth time that British Council China sponsors the Alumnus of the Year Award, which is open to all Chinese Alumni who hold an undergraduate or above from the UK higher education institutions and can demonstrate the positive influence that UK education and culture has had on their chosen occupation. Judges will look for evidence of individualism, knowledge and skill, as well as enthusiasm, confidence and independence. They will also look for evidence of commitment to strengthening and building partnerships between China and the UK.

More about British Business Awards 2012:

Along with the 'Alumnus of the Year' category, seven other award categories will be recognised: Sustainability Award, Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Innovation Award, Chinese Investor of the Year Award, Financial & Professional Services Award andBritish Company of the Year.

Five finalists in each of the eight categories will be chosen by an independent panel of judges and announced at a Finalists Event in late June. The highlight event of the Awards, a Gala Awards Dinner will take place on the 8th November, when the winners will be announced.
