诺森比亚大学学生感言

      Most international students study in other country always fell lonely, but I never have this feeling. Because I have 8 classmates to with me and study in UK now, and we are a family, every family members are my brothers and sisters~ Chris

 

     After I arrived at England, I found some changes in my life. I have to finish many things by myself. I have to arrange my daily life by myself. It is important that my English is improved and I can communicate with foreigners more and more freely. So it made me grow up to study in the UK. And this experience will be the one of most great memory in my life. ---- Anna

 

     I like this city and my university very much, everyone is friendly and help me to overcome the difficulty. I have many of friends and we play basketball every week, but I just have a few British friends. The school's library is very easy for students to check the information especially the internet library. I like this life. I do not like the weather in UK, because it is hardly to see the sun everyday and the sky is always covered by haze, particularly the wet air makes me hard to breathe. I have a beautiful friend whose name is Jane, she likes playing badminton and she always is the winner when we play it together. Thank you! ----- Duncan

 

     Study in the UK, I can access to lots of materials for free and develop independent study ability as well as English communicational skill. Teachers in there are all kind, friendly, responsible and patient. All sorts of questions can be asked at any time and they will be happy to solve your problems. Living in the UK is colourful. Travelling, shopping is convenience and not so expensive, especially joining in some activities which held by Student Union. ----Tracy

 

     Studying in Northumbria University is a very different experience for me. First of all, different cultures make different shocks, but, most shocks make fun between teachers and us, also between us and other students from other countries. Such as the different name of "first floor". In England, they call it "ground floor", but people just call it "first floor" in China and Russia, which makes me confused. Second, different exchange rate of money makes different sense of price. When I first came here I always hesitate to buy goods with calculation between RMB and GBP, which seems to be an everlasting question for Chinese students. However, the exchange rate of RMB is becoming stronger than before, that is no doubt good news for those who want to study abroad, but it is a bad news for our exportation at the same time. Time goes fast and things changed, I am still trying to be an excellent student with fluent spoken English and rich knowledge. --Victor

 

     This is amazing program. When i came to Northumbira University I had seen many things I’ve never seen study many things I’ve never study before. It is not just a project, but also a good opportunity for self-improvement. The life in UK made me known that in a strange but advanced environment, the only way to learn more and do better was putting your great effort on every things surrounding. -----Max
