Filling out the table （General）

 

题型介绍：

you are asked to finish a chart or a table by filling the missing information.

这类题型是每次必考的，而且通常一次考试会出现多次，在4个Section中，都可能出现。

按照表格的形式，大致可分成两个类型：

i.                     List型

Feature：head of the list

        It always talks about various aspects of one event

ii.                   Table型

Feature：head of every column and row

        In most of the case，it is the comparison of several events

 

做题步骤与技巧：

1．读题： 1）读懂题目要求

2）读例子，然后排除例子中已经存在的答案内容

2．猜题：LIST： key word – the head of the list

（大致决定哪个方面的内容）

                Context – the content before and following the blank

（进一步缩小答案的范围，决定词性）

TABLE：key word – the head of every column and row

（大致决定哪个方面的内容）

Context – the content before and following the blank

（进一步缩小答案的范围，决定词性）

Number of the blank – structure

（决定它是按列的顺序说的还是按行的顺序说的）

3．听题：听到关键词定位到一行或一列，再听到context定位到某一个blank

4. 写题：抓住关键词和上下文关系后马上用简写填上

5．查题：

l         大小写

l         单复数

l         货币符号

l         时态

l         拼写

l         题目要求的字数限制

 

注意事项：

l         一定要按照序号答题。

l         要重点注意时间，地名，人名，货币等

l         对于一般的单词，尽量要简写，节省时间

 

 

Filling out the table （Personal Information）

 

这类题目的题型和Filling out the table （General）是一样的，只是内容上要填的是个人信息，通常的录音内容是interview，或是introduction，在Section 2，3中常出现。

个人信息一般包括：姓名，年龄，地址，爱好等等一些细节，有可能涉及时间日期或是货币。

考生要特别注意姓名的拼写，一般在录音中会拼写，但速度较快，数字，时间也是一大考点，要在平时多注意培养自己对字母和数字的敏感度。

做题的技巧和步骤和Filling out the table （General）是一样的，在此不重复了。
