为上学做好准备
The University of Northampton has launched a new website designed to bridge the gap between school or college and higher education (HE).
The 'Be For University' site - www.be4university.com – will help sixth form and college students, as well as their teachers and tutors, get all the vital information they need about going to University.
In addition to a full range of comprehensive answers to questions about ‘going to university, routes into higher education, student finance and study skills,’ the site also provides an abundance of invaluable guides. Downloadable materials include support on essay writing, finance, revision, student support and even a higher education ‘jargon buster’.
Teachers and tutors can also help their students prepare for HE by accessing key information on study skills, revision and writing references.
Melanie Fowler, Senior Schools Liaison Officer at The University of Northampton, comments: “Over the last year our team has visited more than 100 schools and colleges across Northamptonshire and the surrounding counties to answer questions about the benefits of going to university.
“Teachers and students have asked us for an improved web resource covering the important issues about leaving school or college and going into higher education. For the first time ‘Be. For University’ will address this detail in a single location that can be easily accessed on the web.”
