实习生将有长达三个月的实习时间，实习不仅可以让学生将理论应用于摄影节，电影节，还能让学生获得与国际知名策展人，摄影师以及电视制作人共同工作及学习的机会。

Derby Film Festival
简介：
FORMAT International Photography Festival是英国最著名的摄影节，该摄影节将于2015年3月13日-4月12日在德比举行。
FORMAT International Photography Festival于2005年首次举办。随后FORMAT International Photography Festival正式成立。自2005年，摄影节创办以来，迅速发展，国际影响力不断提升。于2013年，此摄影节被誉为“英国最大的摄影节”。2015年也是FORMAT International Photography Festival成立10周年，这一年不知道摄影节会带给我们什么惊喜了？！
Derby Film Festival是英国首屈一指的地方性电影节。
该电影节将于5月举行，持续10天。
届时电影爱好者，电影制作人，以及业内人士都将出席此活动!例如在今年的电影节上，Daniel Michael Blake Day-Lewis 英国和爱尔兰演员就有出席此次活动，其曾凭借《我的左脚》(1989年)和《血色将至》(2008年)两次获奥斯卡最佳男主角奖，两次获得英国电影学院奖最佳男主角奖，也曾获金球奖提名，2013年2月25日，他又凭借《林肯》第三次获得奥斯卡最佳男主角奖。由于其成绩斐然被影迷戏称为“刘皇叔”。
Masters degree with internships in Film and Photography
Four exciting internship opportunities have arisen for international students applying for the MA Film and Photography course starting in early 2015.
Two internships will be based at the highly acclaimed FORMAT International Photography Festival and two at the Derby Film Festival
Masters in Film and Photography
The University of Derby has a long tradition of both photography and film and this course gives you the opportunity to specialise in still and moving imagery and to work creatively across disciplines. The course integrates theory and practice across lens-based media, dissolving the traditional boundaries between still and moving image to encourage both original thinking and individuality within a lively, challenging community.
FORMAT
The biennale, international Format Festival takes place in Derby from March to April 2015 and is the largest and longest established photography festival in the UK. Attracting audiences of over 100,000 the Festival celebrates the wealth of contemporary photographic practice.
Derby Film Festival
Derby Film Festival is one of the leading regional festivals of film in the UK. The 10 day Festival begins in May and brings together film fans, film makers and industry figures. Screenings, previews and showcase events with major figures from the world of film are accompanied by workshops and master classes.
The internships
Four internships are available on a part time, flexible basis for up to three months and will combine the Masters theory and teaching with hands-on practical experience in delivering either the FORMAT Festival or the Film Festival. All interns will gain valuable experience of working with internationally renowned curators, photographers and filmmakers.
Fees and funding
The international fee for the MA in Film and Photography is £11,260. Each internship is worth £2,000. The internship will not be given as a cash grant, but will be deducted from the course fee so the total you will pay is £9,260.
