学校简介
龙比亚大学(University of Napier)是苏格兰地区最大的综合性大学之一。以世界著名的哲学家和数学家JOHN NAPIER命名。位于苏格兰首府爱丁堡市西南部，共有四个主校园。
大学提供一系列的受国际认可的优秀课程，并可授予相关的学士，硕士以及博士学位，在校学生共有13,000余名，海外学生300名，分别来自许多国家。
课程设置
会计学、统计学、电子学、国际法、市场学、人力资源、社会研究、出版、职业培训、商业管理、环境管理、旅游、语言学、MBA、资源技术、建筑学、软件技术、信息系统、计算机通讯等。
入学要求
申请本科：需年满17岁，具有高中毕业以上学历(含高中毕业)且成绩优良;
申请硕士：需持有学士学位或其他等同学历，国家正规三年制大专毕业生并具有良好的工作经验者，有些专业可考虑直接录取到研究生学位课程进行学习;
MBA申请人需具有两年以上全职相关工作经验;
英文要求
申请本科：
(1)高二学生，英语水平雅思4.5以上,先读一年大学预科,后直升大学
(2)高三学生，英语水平雅思6分以上。
申请硕士：
(1)大专三年制学生，英语水平雅思成绩5分以上，先读一年研究生预科，后读硕士学位。
(2)本科学生，英语水平雅思6分以上(不同专业对英语要求不同)。

Introduction to the University of Napier
Napier University, based on a number of sites in and around Edinburgh, began life in 1964 as a technical college, before merging with a college of commerce and becoming Scotland's largest polytechnic. It gained its university status in 1992 and is named after John Napier, who blessed the world with his invention of logarithms.
Its origins are still reflected in the courses that it offers: its business school is Scotland's largest and a majority of the vocational courses include work placements and make use of Napier's close links with industry and business. These links also help graduates find work and mean that there is plenty of dialogue with those at the coalface to keep courses relevant and up to date.
Edinburgh itself is one of Europe's great cities, with all the facilities for recreation and amusement which that entails. Despite its age, beauty and abundance of high culture, it has lashings of vitality too. Living here is a rich experience: certainly those who know the area see no reason to leave. In 1997/98, 70% of full-time first years came from within a radius of 50 miles.
The students' union has bars on four of the campuses and does its best to provide entertainment across these sites. Sports facilities too are spread around the university.
